If you’re developing a climate-impact technology with startup potential, join DTU Earthbound—a supportive community of scientists and experts.
Over nine months, you’ll receive tailored support and practical guidance to fast-track and transform your research towards commercialisation. Nurture Programme equips you with tailored coaching, market insights, and business model development to advance your project’s commercial potential.
Gain pitching practice, increase your chances to secure soft funding (e.g. Discovery, POC, Innoexplorer, Earthbound Grant), and build the skills needed to launch your startup—all on a flexible schedule designed to fit your busy schedule.

Increase your soft funding:
DTU Earthbound can provide 50,000 DKK coverage for grant writer experts to increase the likelihood of receiving soft funding.
Drive commercial growth:
Our experienced venture builders provide individual workshops to identify and close critical gaps (3-4 workshops)
Master the art of pitching:
Increase your chances of getting additional startup funding with pitch training and learn the fundamentals of fundraising.
Accelerating climate action:
Get clear on your impact potential and metrics. DTU Earthbound provides resources and tools to identify and quantify your impact and climate action (Access to software tool and facilitation).
Assembling a dream team:
Dive into what team resources are needed to reach your milestones and find out what is important to think about early.
Visit conferences & industry partners:
Access up to 15,000 DKK from DTU Earthbound to support conference and industry partner visits for commercial opportunities.
An opportunity for researchers, Ph.D. students, and postdocs.
Scientists employed at DTU with an early-stage startup idea interested in accelerating the journey towards spinout can apply for the Nurture Programme.
We are looking for teams or individuals with:
- Climate tech potentially solving a globally recognised climate challenge. See DTU Earthbound Climate impact focus areas
- Someone ready to take the lead and work dedicatedly on the project (Ideally at least one day per week) for a minimum 3-month period.
- Only projects at pre-company stage (No CVR number)

Assessment Process
- We will prioritise projects based on potential climate impact and motivation to spin out.
- We will request additional information or meetings if needed.
- We will announce selected projects approximately 2 weeks after the deadline.
