Earthbound Venture Associate Programme

The Earthbound Venture Associate is a 10-month, part-time programme designed to engage ambitious students in hands-on climate venture building. Associates are employed part-time and work directly on or alongside early-stage deeptech climate ventures supported by DTU Earthbound.

The programme serves a dual purpose:

  • Talent development: Provide students with exposure to real-world startup work and a pathway into climate entrepreneurship.
  • Venture support: Offer high-capacity, motivated team members to help Earthbound cases build momentum and reach key milestones.

Core Elements

Associates contribute directly to one or more early-stage startups or Earthbound-supported cases.

Example activities include:

  • Market research and validation
  • Business model and go-to-market support
  • Process coordination and task follow-up
  • Stakeholder mapping and outreach

Associates are treated as members of the Earthbound community, with access to:

  • Events, team lunches, and lectures
  • Mentorship from the Earthbound team
  • Learning opportunities around climate tech and venture building
  • Associates are employed ~15 hours/week (flexible)
  • Monthly salary of 15,000 DKK (gross)
  • Contract duration: September 1 to June 30

Target Group

  • Students enrolled in a university degree programme during the 2025–2026 academic year.
  • High intrinsic motivation to work with climate, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
  • Especially relevant for students in Technology Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, Innovation, or Engineering programmes.
