DTU Earthbound is a climate tech catalyst that mobilises and nurtures deep tech inventions, maturing them into early-stage startups fighting climate change.

We are practitioners led by active hope for our climate, building entrepreneurial pathways for impactful inventions, intentionally co-creating a community around a shared mission.

Programmes and Grants

Nurture Programme
Receive tailored support, coaching, and funding opportunities to fast-track your climate-impact technology over nine months. Ideal for scientists, PhD students, and postdocs.

Earthbound Student Grant
Up to 150,000 DKK in soft funding for DTU students with climate tech startup ideas. Covers prototyping, testing, legal costs, and more. Join our climate tech community.

Earthbound Grant
Receive up to 550,000 DKK for mature DTU climate tech projects. Includes monthly check-ins, venture support, peer-to-peer sparring, and access to a supportive community.

Develops an innovative carbon capture technology to combat industrial CO2 emissions. The product, a CO2 Trap, captures carbon dioxide directly from factory flue gases or directly from the air (DAC), and convert it into a solid material that can replace cement in concrete production.
